Adding to Carl’s comment, I too have tried AloeElite and it’s amazing…I was skeptical at first because I thought it was like all the other shady aloe sites out there, but AloeElite actually works and they actually CARE. Thank you sooo much for writing this article, I would have never found AloeElite if it wasn’t for this!

Along with the following recommendations, I also purchased a bottle of AloeElite and I have to say WOW, I am now a true believer in their product. I strongly recommend anyone suffering from diverticulitis to give AloeElite a try!

I have shared the same confusion since reading the many articles about the 2007 study that says there is no association between eating nuts and seeds and diverticulosis or diverticulitis. However after reading the actual document there was a section at the end called "study limitations" that said they were unable to confirm the findings for people who were known to already have diverticulosis. Maybe that's why my doctor told me to still avoid nuts and seeds.

AloeElite helps to relieve some inflammation and has antibacterial properties which, when AloeElite is taken over a period of time, can give your body a better chance at longer remission times between Diverticulitis flare-ups.

This information was very helpful to me in clarifying the difference between the two similiar words. Also it was helpful to know there is nothing that I can do to stop the transition from "osis" to itis. In addition, the list of foods to eat was helpful to me. Thanks

I am a 60 year old female with controlled hypertension and otherwise good health. I was recently diagnosed with slight diverticulosis after a colonoscopy. After reading internet info I am confused about eating popcorn and nuts. Some say that if properly chewed these are both fine to consume and female in good health.
Thank you for the clarification,
